Directeur van zowel het International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) als van het Couple and Family Institute Inc. in Ottawa. Ze is hoogleraar Klinische Psychologie aan de University of Ottawa en onderzoeker in het Marital & Family Therapy Program aan de Alliant University in San Diego. Dr. Johnson is een van de grondleggers van Emotionally Focused Therapy ofwel EFT.
Mario Mikulincer
Hoogleraar Psychologie en Directeur van de New School of Psychology in het Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya, Israel. De kern van zijn onderzoek is de theorie van attachment, angstbeheersing, processen die te maken hebben met persoonlijkheid in persoonlijke relaties, verwerken van stress en trauma en processen die gerelateerd zijn aan verdriet.

Julie Gottman
Dr. Julie Gottman is the co-founder and Clinical Director of The Gottman Institute. A highly respected licensed clinical psychologist, she is sought internationally by media and organizations as an expert advisor on marriage, sexual abuse and rape, domestic violence, gay and lesbian adoption, same-sex marriage and parenting issues. She was recently voted as the WA State Psychologist of the Year.
John Gottman
John Gottman is world renowned for his work on marital stability and divorce prediction, involving the study of emotions, physiology, and communication. He has conducted nearly 40 years of research with over 3,000 couples. He was recently voted as one of the Top 10 Most Influential Therapists of the past quarter-century by the PsychoTherapy Networker publication.
Dan Hughes
For most of his professional life, Dan Hughes has been a clinician specializing in the treatment of children and youth with severe emotional and behavioral problems. His treatment is family-centered, with the parents actively involved in their child’s treatment, while also deepening their caregiving abilities and addressing their own attachment histories.
Edward Tronick
Edward Z. Tronick is a world class researcher and teacher recognized internationally for his work on the neurobehavioral and social emotional development of infants and young children, parenting in the U.S. and other cultures, and infant-parent mental health. Over the course of his career, Dr. Tronick has co-authored and authored more than 150 scientific papers and chapters.
Vittorio Gallese
Professor of Physiology at the University of Parma, Italy. Cognitive neuroscientist. One of the discoverers of mirror neurons. He received the Grawemeyer Award for Psychology in 2007, the Doctor Honoris Causa from the Catholic University of Leuven in 2010, and the Arnold Pfeffer Prize for Neuropsychoanalysis in 2010.
Leonardo Fogassi
Leonardo Fogassi is Professor of Human Physiology at the Università degli Studi di Parma in Parma, Italy. His research focuses on the sensori-motor transformations operated by the cerebral cortex and the role of motor cortex in action perception.
Peter Fonagy
Professor Peter Fonagy, PhD, FBA, is Freud Memorial Professor of Psychoanalysis and Head of the Research Department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology at University College London; Chief Executive of the Anna Freud Centre, London; and Consultant to the Child and Family Programme at the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Baylor College of Medicine.
